We’re Derek and Keirsten, the husband-and-wife team behind South End Realty. We first met while studying at NC State and, even after a few years in Colorado, we always felt drawn back to North Carolina. With Derek’s roots in Eastern NC and our shared love for the coast, Wilmington was the natural place to call home. Now, we’re grateful to share that lifestyle with our clients every day.
Derek has been with Coldwell Banker since 2022 and was recognized as a Power Producer in 2025. He is known for his data-driven approach and strong negotiation skills. Derek also works closely with local builders, analyzing market trends and helping guide the development of new construction projects. His insight gives clients the confidence to move forward, whether they’re buying, selling, or investing.
Keirsten brings eight years of property management and marketing experience, including overseeing large-scale developments. With a creative eye for presentation and a background in luxury marketing, she ensures every listing is positioned beautifully and reaches the right buyers. Clear communication and attention to detail are her priorities, making the process smooth from start to finish.
Together, we combine strategy and creativity with a hands-on, client-first approach. Whether it’s a luxury home, an investment property, or a first-time purchase, our goal is to provide trusted guidance, expert marketing, and a seamless experience.
Outside of real estate, Keirsten pursues her passion for photography and Derek enjoys playing music. Most evenings, you’ll find us walking our dog, Lola, along the beach, discovering new restaurants around town, or catching the sunset over the water — a lifestyle we love sharing with our clients
